“… and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:7 Dear reader, stop and think! How glorious it was for Mary to have her firstborn, a son. To put Him in a manger was, expectedly, very disappointing. But the only choice she and her husband had was the manger. Perhaps, you too, must now contain your seemingly degrading circumstance because you have no other choice. Consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Hebrews 3:1, less you become weary and loose heart. His parent placed him in a manger after His birth because they had no other choice. Today, that same Jesus, “the stone that the builders rejected has become the head of the corner”. In cosmic history, He remains the most worshiped and exalted and will stay incomparably so through all eternity. Praise God! In Him, we live, move and have our being. He is our Life – earthy and heavenly; He is our Peace, our Health and Our Wealth. Do you have room in your life for Jesus Christ?
