When you know Him, you will be closer drawn to Him and can talk to Him at anytime in prayer about anything. And “He will perfect all that concern you”. That is the power of prayer. The confidence that God is your father and you are His child, is so powerful and reassuring that you can afford not to pray now to Him about whatever situation you need His help. God, for whom all things are; in whom all things consist and depend; one who owns the world in all its fullness is your father, and He sincerely loves you.
God is the greatest. Little children would say “He is a very big God.” He is beyond comparison in all aspects. He is incomparably mighty, and enormous in wisdom and understanding “God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen.” 1 Timothy 6:16. (NIV)
Dear reader, this same God in all His vastness, craves your fellowship and wants to release to you everything He has in Him. I mean everything! My friend may be you are, currently, having difficulties with the affairs of this life, such difficulties that might even cause you to doubt the very existence of God. Regardless of your bane or station in life, it is no secret that God loves you; again it is no secret that He does. The problem - yours and mine - is that we do not know Him. How can you confide in and talk with one whom you do not know? Parents advise their children against talking with strangers. Not knowing God, is the big gulf, and until this is removed, we are bound to continue in penury amidst the huge wealth that is ours in God. He is saying to you and me: “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.” John 10:14 .
Do you know God? It is written of Him: “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10 . Do you have abundant life? “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue”. 2 Peter 1:3 Do you have us all things that pertain unto life? I believe you do not have enough, but the bible says, in knowing God, we can have all things. And “the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32 .
Though you are the best judge of your situation, I urge you to seek to know God. You can do so by simply inviting Him into your life and opening up yourselves to Him in prayer. A simple prayer of faith in which you acknowledge that God is your father and you want Him in your life is the answer. Jesus Himself said: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20, “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Luke 11:9

Please remain blessed.
